To limit global warming to well below 2ºC more ambitious transition plans for cities are required, experimenting with new approaches to urban energy planning.

The Chair participates in various projects to contribute to the evaluation of the city’s decarbonization strategies:

- Positive energy districts
- Tools to estimate the decarbonization potential of public policy measures
